Acorns Uplands B & B is set in a stunning rural area. The owner Denise is 5 stars just on her own! She'll organise dinner for you at the famous Cock Inn and she will ensure that you are taken care of for any of your needs. The rooms are beautifully kept and it feels like a home from home. Having a TV / rest room with sky allows you to relax in comfort at the end of the day. This is a perfect place to stay whether you are visiting the surrounding country side, towns or in the area for a triathlon or two. Whenever i'm in the area - this is where i'll ALWAYS stay.

Having stayed at Acorns for the best part of 8 months, i can tell you it aint half bad. Did i mention i was there for 8 months -must be doing something right. Excellently priced, clean, warm and quiet. The breakfasts are ample and very tasty. Whats more the proprietors are only to willing to help/assist you in any way they can. Always pleased to see you, sorry when you've got to go.

Very neat, tidy and clean B&B in quiet, country surroundings. The rooms are well presented with everything you could need, and breakfast was excellent every time. I also made good use of the lounge room which has a fridge, microwave and cutlery for those who may want to order a local take-away in the evening. I was made extremely welcome, and as a woman travelling on her own felt very safe. Highly recommended!

Stayed at Acorns whilst on a business trip in Milton Keynes. Very close to all amenities. Clean & friendly, with excellent breakfast. I would stay there again.

Denise is a friendly, charming host who couldn't be more helpful. She also happens to cook a smashing breakfast, so I can see why Dave snapped her up! The B&B is quiet and has a fabulous view of the countryside, but is situated close to all Milton Keynes has to offer. Room was very clean and comfortable with everything I needed during my stay. Special mention to the en-suite shower which was amazing! Highly recommended.

We have been amongst their first guests. They were really kind and caring. The rooms were clean, the breakfast is superb, and the coffee and tea stuff was kindly refilled. Thanks for everything!

Upfront at Uplands

This is a superb place to stay for bed and breakfast. The owners are very welcoming after the long journey and that welcome does not diminish. Nothing appears to be too much trouble for them. It is situated in a very quiet location but is minutes from village life or town life. All the bedrooms are en suite and the rooms are simply decorated but not sparse with all the amenities you are likely to need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, well equipped, and the breakfasts are well cooked and ample with a good selection of cereals, as well as juices, full cooked breakfast, tea & coffee and toast. If you are looking for a place that is friendly but not fussy with down to earth hosts that know how to make you feel right at home, this is a great place to stay.
